Datawest provides probe survey-related products and services to be used with our Traffic Flow Measurement Systems. Trace Check Tool and Trace Cutout Tool We provide two types of software, "Trace Check Tool" for plotting the probe data acquired through the Traffic Flow Measurement System to check the trace, and "Trace Cutout Tool" for cutting out the probe data you need and saving as a file. They can be used for travel data check and for data pre-delivery check. <Common Specifications>     Data used : KTX file format (extension: ".ktx")     Target Area : Japan     Functions : Draws on the map, as trace(s) of data acquired, yellow Δs for every second. (Trace Check Tool and Trace Cutout Tool) By placing the mouse pointer at an acquired data yellow Δ, date, time, longitude, and latitude at which the data was acquired can be shown. You can also cut only red Δs out and save it as a file with a file name. (Trace Cutout Tool)   Trace Check Tool Trace Cutout Tool Probe Data Analysis From large to small volume probe data acquired through the Traffic Flow Measurement System, average travel time can be calculated for each census zone or zone between intersections, and amount of loss by traffic jam can be calculated to be submit to the Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport. Data can be made into chart on your demand. E.g.) Analyze the probe data acquired for 1 year (72 CD-ROMs of 540MB) for each census zone. Analyze to compare probe data of the previous and the current years. Analysis is also possible in the following cases: •Highways and narrow streets •Travel data for zone not specified Analysis Map Presentation Represent the average travel speed of the census zone on the map. Show comparison data on the map. Show analysis result on the 3D map. Other Optional Items •Aluminum Case for KTX Series Allows for compact storage of any of KTX-16, KTX-16 EVO, KTX-16 EVO SG, for handy-carrying. The aluminum body and the inner cushoning liner protects the precision device, KTX, and other equipments from shocks and impacts.   •KTX Series Memory Card Memory card specially designed for the Traffic Flow Measurement System for saving GPS data file. ・128MB (Saves data for approx. 45 days) * The above capacity is when surveying for 24 hours a day. •Constant Power Supply Cable Cigarette lighter socket (female) for constant power supply. Cable for constantly supplying power to the on-vehicle device when the vehicle engine is on and off. Lengths of 2m, 3m, and 5m are available.   •Device Holder KTX series device holder. To enable stable data collection while traveling, holds the precision device, KTX, stable. •Escort Box Box specially designed to fix the contact parts of the device and to prevent unnecessary contact by external objects. *KTX-16 device is not included.   •GPS Sensor Holder GPS Sensor Holder helps more stable data reception when attaching GPS sensor to a vehicle with metal dashboard. * Please make sure to install where there is no obstacle between the GPS sensor and the sky. •Auto-timer Software Software for automatically starting and ending the Traffic Flow Measurement System at specified time.
